Holywell School
Holywell Church of England Primary School is located in the village and draws it pupils from within the parish and beyond.

It is named after the nearby well which has sacred associations and which, at one time, supplied the school with water. St Peter's Church has also used its water. The first record of its existence dates back to the 14th century.

At its Ofsted inspection in 2017, Holywell was recorded as having 103 pupils and was awarded a Good rating. It cooperates with Bratton Fleming Primary School with the two schools being known as The Gateway Federation.
